Greenburgh Central Election Results
We are pleased to announce that the Greenburgh Central School District Budget passed by a vote of 906-334.  The Board of Education results were extremely close and resulted in 3 new members and no incumbents being elected.  The unofficial totals are below. Only 4 votes total separating the 2nd and 4th place finisher so its a reminder to make sure to vote in this important election every year. Congratulations to Chris, Jamaal, and Kiana.

The Board came to an agreement with Dr. Iverson who will be the next Superintendent of the district.  You can learn more about her here.

Memorial Day Celebration
Hartsdale Fire Department is partnering with the Town of Greenburgh Police and other groups for a Memorial Day motorcade.  The participants will gather at 10:00am on Pipeline road and at 10:30am there will be a brief ceremony outside the train station at Desanti Plaza.  Click here for the full schedule.

Dromore Road Lawsuit Settlement
The Town recently settled the Fair Housing Act lawsuit brought by S&R Development regarding the property in Edgemont on Dromore Road.  The settlement resulted in the Town agreeing to pay $9.5mm to settle the dispute.  You can read the town statement on the matter here and a Lohud article about it from today.

Library Reopening
The Greenburgh Public Library is reopening its doors beginning Tuesday 6/2 with limited hours until Labor Day.  Masks are mandatory and appointments are required for the Children’s and Teen rooms.  Town announcement here.
